Food for Vets Drive

Since 2007, our credit union staff and members have joined forces with other credit unions in the region to collect non-perishable food and personal care items for local military veterans who use the out-patient services at Castle Point Hospital Veterans’ Food Pantry in Wappingers Falls. This year more than ever, many vets in our region could use our assistance.

If you'd like to donate to our drive, you can bring your items into any branch throughout October. Simply leave your items in the shopping cart found in any branch lobby. The Pantry will receive your donations in November, just prior to Thanksgiving.

Our contact at Castle Point has asked specifically for food with higher levels of protein, but here is a list of some items to consider donating:

If you prefers to make a financial donation, you can mail a check directly to the Veterans Administration. The checks should be made out to HVHCS, Castle Point with GPF 1006 Food Pantry in the memo line, and mailed to:
