New Digital Wire Transfer Tool

Check something else off your list quickly by setting up your own wire transfer without waiting on line at a branch or on the phone. You can now complete a wire transfer from your personal accounts directly within Internet Banking or Mobile Banking to anyone in the domestic United States. For international wire transfers, we’re still here to help through our Contact Center at 845.463.3011 or your nearby branch.

Sending Limits and Cutoff Times

The dollar limits for domestic wire transfers through Internet or Mobile Banking are:
  • $10,000 daily
  • $40,000 weekly or monthly
Domestic wire transfer requests received by 2:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, are processed on the same day, typically arriving to the recipient within 24 hours. Any wire received after that 2 pm deadline are processed the next business day.

Sending and Receiving a Wire Transfer

Be sure to have the following information handy to complete your wire transfer request:
  • The name, address, and account number of the recipient.
  • The name and routing number of the recipient’s financial institution.
