I. Description of the program
a) Cardholders will earn HVCU Rewards! (“Points”) for purchases of all eligible goods and services using the participating financial institution’s (Hudson Federal Credit Union or HVCU) rewards card (“Card”). Points will be accumulated at the rate of:
- One point per each one (1) dollar charged on the cardholder’s Visa Platinum or Visa Platinum Rewards credit card.
- Two points per each one (1) dollar charged on the cardholder’s Visa Signature credit card.
- One point per each five (5) dollars spent on the cardholder's debit card in signature-based transactions only.
- PIN-based transactions are not eligible to earn points.
b) Points accumulated for other banking relationships, products or services are determined at the sole discretion of financial institution. Please note that HVCU may not participate in all options mentioned above and not all cardholders have both debit and credit cards enrolled in the program.
c) Accumulation of points may begin on the date the card and the card agreement is received by the cardholder.
d) Point earnings are based on the net retail purchase transaction volume (i.e., purchases less credits, returns and adjustments) charged to the card during each billing cycle ("Billing Cycle") by the cardholder(s) ("Net Purchase(s)"). Net purchases are rounded to the nearest dollar and are subject to verification. If a transaction is subject to a billing dispute, the point value of the transaction may be deducted from the point total during the dispute period. If the transaction is reinstated, points will be reinstated.
e) If multiple reward cards are linked to the same account, points earned from each card will be issued together and posted to one reward account. If multiple reward cards are not linked to the same account, they may not be added together or transferred from one account to another. For more information on linking separate accounts, visit hvfcurewards.org
f) To request a point transfer contact HVCU directly 845.463.3011. Completing the transfer request can take up to three business days.
