HVCU has been a community partner and trusted supporter, ready to lend a hand, in good times and bad – that is the quintessential partnership!
- Christina, Rebuilding Together of Dutchess County
At Hudson Valley, we’re respected by our members, communities, and businesses for our excellence and caring actions. For over 50 years, the credit union has been a regional community leader, consistently partnering with local businesses, non-profits, and legislators to ensure our communities thrive and grow.
Investing in Tomorrow
For us, charitable giving is more than just signing a check. We work with local non-profits to get a deeper understanding of how their work impacts our community. These organizations range from a focus on health and human services, to arts, economic development, and more.
We sincerely thank our community partners who work tirelessly to improve the quality of life for everyone in the 12 counties we serve.
Coming Together
Funding isn’t the only way we come together to strengthen our community. In addition to charitable donations, more than 35 of our staff currently serve over 45 local organizations. Our staff provide leadership as board or committee members for many different non-profits, including
Family Services,
Garnet Health Foundation, and
Rebuilding Together of Dutchess County, just to name a few. Volunteering gives us a chance to interact with our neighbors and work towards a common goal of improving the way of life for everyone in of our community.
Making Your Voice Heard
We’re committed to working with legislators at the local, state, and federal level to ensure they understand the issues that are important to our members, our community, and our credit union. Learn more about the work we do at home and on the Hill.
