Members in Service

The Hudson Valley Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee members are credit union member-volunteers who devote their time and talents to serving your credit union without compensation. Board members serve a three year term, elected into office by their fellow members. Each year our Nominating Committee coordinates the Election process, which culminates in an announcement at our Annual Meeting (typically held during the second quarter). Please watch our website, statement inserts and Shared Interests for information on our next election cycle.

Director Emeritus

*The Associate Board Member (ABM) Program is designed to attract, train, and educate potential directors who have the necessary attributes and characteristics to serve on the Hudson Valley Credit Union Board of Directors. The program gives ABMs an opportunity to learn about HVCU and its governance structure so they can proactively contribute to and support the Credit Union’s constructive partnership among the Board, CEO, and Management should they be asked to join the Board as a Director at a later time. The Nominating Committee may submit an ABM for consideration to the Board, which interviews and approves the candidates; up to two may serve at one time. These members serve at the will of the Board and may be appointed for a renewable one-year term.
