Millwood Market Commercial Refinance

“I knew I had to find someone at a bank who shared my vision. Business Loan Officer Beth Lallis and Hudson Valley Credit Union recognized my dream for expanding on the modern retail convenience store we’ve built at Millwood Market. They were able to help me when I needed it most.”  – John DeMeo

Millwood Market

John DeMeo began working in his father’s Port Washington, NY service station in 1964 at the age of 12. Mr. DeMeo’s entrepreneurial spirit surfaced early as he set a goal to own his own business, and by 1980 he had purchased his father’s station. By the mid-1990’s he managed 150 employees, owned eight Mobil© franchise locations, five Exxon locations, became an On-The-Run© franchisee (2001), and had been recognized by Mobil© for his enterprise management capabilities.

In 2005, Mr. DeMeo recognized that the time was right to sell most of his franchise locations and reinvest in a unique opportunity. He purchased an existing multi-use property in Millwood, NY—acquired permits, cleared all existing buildings and constructed a 2,800 sq. ft. convenience store with 2,500 sq. ft. of office space on this exclusive site. The success of this site led to construction plans for additional Millwood Market sites. Recently obtained from a Mobil Dealer, the Manhasset location is poised to be extremely popular, much like the original Millwood location.
