Website Accessibility Policy

Hudson Valley Credit Union is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience in accordance with W3C WAI’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. Our website currently has levels A and AA conformance, and our most recent audit was performed by an industry-leading third-party vendor. We continuously monitor our website to comply with levels A and AA conformance, and new content that is added to the website is reviewed in accordance with this standard. Accessibility is a factor when evaluating potential features and services to add to our website, including those provided by third party vendors.

Scope

This policy applies to content under the main domain of hvcu.org and does not apply to third party systems outside of the hvcu.org main domain.  

Accessibility Issues

Hvcu.org web content in violation of this policy are referred to Hudson Valley Credit Union’s Marketing Department for remediation. Accessibility issues are investigated and addressed as they are identified, and timelines for remediation vary based on the complexity of the issue and programming resources required. Remediation efforts may include the removal of a website page or feature until that page or feature is in compliance with this policy.
