Wire Transfers

Send or receive funds to a domestic or international account.

Wire transfers sent within the United States typically arrive at the receiving institution within 24 hours, while wires sent internationally will vary based on the destination country and bank.

Before wiring money, please ensure that you know the identity of the party you are sending money to. Some scammers prey on unsuspecting people by asking them to pay money for something they have won or to receive a deposit from another country such as Canada, England, or Nigeria. Often times these scammers request funds via wire transfer, so it is always best to confirm the identity of who you are dealing with. Visit the Federal Trade Commissions’ website for current scams.

Receiving Wires

If the funds are coming from a financial institution within the United States, provide the sender with your member account number, and HVCU’s routing number, which is 221979363.

If the funds are coming from a financial institution outside the United States, that institution will need to transfer funds to a U.S. processing institution with which they maintain a relationship. That institution will then wire funds to HVCU using routing number 221979363 and your full account number. Please note, HVCU does not have a SWIFT number.

Refer to our Fee Schedule for applicable wire transfer fees. Fees charged by other financial institutions can vary.
