Sheila Viera

With nearly 30 years of banking and finance experience, Sheila is a strategic leader known for driving growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and business development. In her most recent role, she served as Deputy Treasurer for the Village of Green Island, where she managed the allocation of municipal funds, oversight of the Section 8 Program, government reporting, and property tax collection. Prior to joining the Village, Sheila held various leadership roles in regional banking, where she was recognized for operational excellence, commercial relationship management, customer experience, and community driven initiatives. Sheila is passionate about community engagement and mentorship, with a long-standing commitment to financial literacy, board leadership and public service. She is an alumni of the Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce and Siena Leadership Institute.
