A Better Way to Stay Connected to Your Accounts Is Coming
We’re excited to share that an upgrade to your account alerts is coming July 14! These improvements are designed to give you more reliability, more flexibility, and greater peace of mind when it comes to staying on top of your finances.
Please note: current CUAlerts notifications will continue through July 13.
What’s Improving?
We’re enhancing our account alerts so they work better for you—keeping you informed in ways that fit your preferences:
- More Ways to Receive Alerts: You’ll still be able to get alerts by email and text message, but with this upgrade you can also choose to receive push notifications right through our mobile app.
- More Alerts, More Control: You’ll have access to an expanded set of alert options, so you can tailor notifications to what matters most to you.
- Improved Reliability: Enjoy more consistent delivery and fewer interruptions, so you can count on getting the alerts you need, when you need them.
- A Simpler Name: As part of this upgrade, we are retiring the CUAlerts name. Going forward, we’ll simply call them Account Alerts—same helpful service, now even better.
What You'll Need to Do
Because of the new and improved alert options, current CUAlerts settings won’t automatically carry over. After the upgrade, you'll just need to quickly re-enroll in our new Account Alerts through online banking—so you can customize your new alert preferences right away.
Getting started is simple:
- Log in to Online or Mobile Banking.
- Select Account Alerts from the Card Mgmt & Account Monitoring menu.
- Choose how you’d like to receive alerts.
Tip: If you plan to receive text alerts, you can confirm your mobile number and opt in to SMS notifications ahead of time by visiting Settings > Contact in online banking. Text alerts will now come from the short code 55124, which is a change from CUAlerts.
